Letícia Sangiacomo - Facilities & Indirect Sourcing Manager - LATAM Edwards Lifesciences
"I would like to once again formalize my satisfaction with the work presented by OPM during the project at Edwards.
The organization, planning and communication that the OPM team had was essential for us to complete a project within the deadline for the first time (that I know of), despite numerous obstacles such as: Construction at the same time as the Edwards team is working, change of layout in the middle of the work, short deadline and limited budget."

OPM Project Management is proud to share another successful project: the renovation of the new Edwards office, located in the Parque da Cidade Building - Torre Sucupira. With a large area of 1,315 square meters and an implementation time of 100 days, divided into two strategically planned phases, this project exemplifies OPM's commitment to excellence in project management.
The main activities developed in this comprehensive project covered four critical areas: schedule control, construction management, financial control, and risk and quality management. Each of these areas played a key role in the success of the new Edwards office renovation.
Schedule control was essential to ensure that the project was completed within the stipulated deadline. OPM Project Management developed a detailed schedule, identifying crucial milestones and allocating resources efficiently. Splitting the project into two phases allowed the team to manage time effectively, ensuring Edwards could occupy its new space in the shortest possible time.
Construction management was carried out with extreme attention to detail and quality. This involved everything from coordinating the demolition and removal of old elements to the installation of new structures and interior design. The OPM team oversaw every stage of construction, ensuring standards and specifications were strictly maintained.
Financial control was a constant concern throughout the project. OPM Project Management maintained a detailed record of all expenses, monitoring the established budget and ensuring financial transparency at all phases of the renovation.
Furthermore, risk and quality management played a crucial role in the success of the project. The OPM team identified potential risks and implemented proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring the project did not face any unpleasant surprises. Quality was a constant priority, ensuring that the new Edwards office was a high standard working environment.
